What to do When Injured!

Injuries happen at all different times of the day and during many different activities. The trick is to now what to doing when you do get injured. Over 50% of people ignore the injury and try to work through the pain. This is the worst thing you can do, as it will maker the injury worse and then create new problems in other areas. This can significantly increase the time needed to recover and get back to exercising like you did prior to the initial injury.

Follow these tips below so you can avoid this happening to you:

šŸ’Ŗ Stop the activity you are doing and get yourself to a doctor or physiotherapist asap, depending on the severity of your injury. Broken bones need immediate attention!

šŸ’Ŗ Ice to help reduce inflammation and pain.

šŸ’Ŗ Once you see the specialist, follow their advice to a tee! This will be a major factor in your recovery success and timeline.
