Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation Tips

Injuries are unfortunately a part of being a consistent exercise enthusiast. If you focus on proper technique, rest, and listen to your body, most injuries can be avoided or at the very least be reduced so that you can work around them. The old saying of one ignored injury leads to the next injury, is very true and should not be understated. We believe that over 80% of injuries can be avoided all together by following these simple tips. We also believe that injury rehabilitation can go two different directions, therefore we have included some injury rehabilitation tips as well.
πͺ Learn proper technique for each exercise so you avoid getting injured unnecessarily.
πͺ Be sure to take a 24 to 48 hour rest between the same muscle groups, so that your muscles can recover properly and get stronger.
πͺ Ensure that you follow a proper warm-up and post workout stretching routine on a daily basis.
πͺ Listen to your body when you are sore or feeling tight. Change the exercise or rest that particular muscle group for the day.
πͺ When an injury does occur be sure to get it assessed by a professional before doing exercises with that muscle group.
